This is a cosplay build based on the character of Devin Everson from David Dalglish's amazing book Soulkeeper. In the books Devin travels around in a duster and tricorn hat. This suggests one of the many hunter outfits so I went with my favourite. He uses a longsword and a plain but serviceable pistol. For this I went with LHB and the hunter pistol. The build is not fully optimised for either but I spread the stats as well as I could. I went LHB over the kirkhammer because his sword is stated to be quite long and he alternates between using it with one and two hands. The most similar in Bloodborne is the LHB. I went for the hunters pistol for similar reasons. Aesthetics over optimisation. For runes I went more health, defence, stamina, and stamina recovery. Devin takes a lot of punishment in these books and due to the author's love of detailed fight scenes he's shown to have a lot of stamina as well. This isn't the most optimised build but it is still quite useable and it's the most faithful recreation I could design for the character.
